This development comprises an office and retail complex with a direct connection to the MRTA subway station, and future connection to a MRTA sky train station. Interchange 21 is located in the prominent area of Asoke at the busy intersection of Asoke and Sukhumvit roads, adjacent to commercial, tourist and shopping districts. The plan form of the building is generally rectangular in shape and parallel to the site boundary line, with the front podium portion turning diagonally toward the main junction of Sukhumvit/Asoke Road in order to reflect the cityscape.
The curvilinear shape of the podium portion responds to the main frontage of the development and maximizes the valuable façade facing the junction. The office tower features column-free office space with views overlooking the city and the new Benjakitti park. The low-E glass façade and vertical fins not only add a rich context of sculptural definition to the building, but with the horizontal sunshades, reduces heat gain and thus provides energy efficient savings to the building.
