The CTBUH lists a project manager when a specific firm has been commissioned to oversee this aspect of a tall building’s design/construction. When the project management efforts are handled by the developer, main contract, or architect, this field will be omitted.
The main contractor is the supervisory contractor of all construction work on a project, management of sub-contractors and vendors, etc. May be referred to as "Construction Manager," however, for consistency CTBUH uses the term "Main Contractor" exclusively.
The design for Ivy Thonglor was inspired by Art Deco designs of the 1930s. Emphasizing vertical elements and setbacks, the tower terminates in a delicate crown at the top which glows at night. Architectural lighting highlights the façade’s intricate detailing, further underscoring the verticality of the design. The building set-backs allow for outdoor features, including a planted area at ground level, and a rooftop garden and pool on the fifth floor. At this level there are also extensive recreational facilities for use by the building occupants. The building form also ensures that natural light penetrates the residential units and allows open views of their surroundings.
The main lobby faces Thonglor Road, a primary route in the heart of Bangkok, to create a grand frontage. The tower comprises 447 luxury residential units, from 35 square meter studios to 86 square meter two-bedroom apartments.
